Default 07' Shelby upgrade ?

I have a 2007 Shelby. I am looking to change out the 3" supercharger pulley for 2.8 or 2.7. I have already done the intake and exhaust (Borla/K&N-good results) and will have Cobb tune the chip after the pulley item is done. Does anyone have any experience with the 07' and change of pulley regarding supplemental changes that need to be done in conjunction with it? Which size produces the better overall result? This is a street car not a racer/drag vehicle. By the way, with the K&N the boost gauge dropped from 8 lbs. to 5 lbs. at max.I was told this was a result of greater air flow across the power spectrum. No question the car is faster with it. Why the drop in boost? Will the pulley change pump it back up?Thanks.
