ORIGINAL: 07 Stang

Guys check out this thread about these louvers. I am impressed how strong they are! Not only that, but I am convinced they are the best looking louvers out there!

https://mustangforums.com/m_2821156/tm.htm
These all look great execept I'm not excited about the yellow showing through with the grey interior (in that other thread). I really like them black against the yellow, though. I'm kinda partial to the black accents.

You know what would look cool? If someone would put in a set and bondo in the crack at the edge so that they completely disappear. Now that would be retro! Of course that means a lot of expensive painting because you'd have to paint after you installed including the whole quarter panel. Would look great though...

Bl - I had a little...incident.. and decided to change the look of the Rufstang.

I went from 19's to 18's for some comfort and traction.

^ wthalliii, Marcello (the owner of SilverHorse) says its not possible. He says it wouldnt remain structurally intact and the seal around the edge would crack and some other stuff that I didnt really understand, but it was technical so I believed him lol. Youre right though, it would look really sweet with it all sealed in... I thought of that a long time ago, after I first found out about these and ordered my own set. I -may- just try it anyways..

Ruf - Ahhh, that explains it! Well the new ones still look good... what are they? They sort of look like Asanti's, except all those Ive seen have the multipiece rivets (or at least immitation rivets). How were the19s? I havent heard much aboutthem because everyone goes with 18s for the ride... but then you even have people running 20s saying the ride is fine.

These are Kazeras.

The 19 Jaz's looked good - but no traction.

Hm... no traction because they werent wide enough, or no traction because of the type/brand of tire you were running? Im just wondering because Im contemplating getting 19s, probably with a 295-ish out back.

BTW, sorry for the hijack.

I called today and asked about them, they recommended using black primer prior to better blend in with my black interior. For you, a grey primer would probably work best to better blend in.

Geez GT! That's the best engine I've seen!
I still am not too crazy about the black louvers... But I guess I just like my yellow ones too much!
Have you considered going with the black taillight bezels? I was thinking those would complete the look a bit better than the chrome ones.
