It will work fine until the new pump arrives.

Stock pump will hold until around 460rwhp and 5500 rpms before you lose pressure. The Walbro pump is a return style pump and our cars are returnless style fuel systems. That means that pump will only work for a short period then it will give out on you.
Hmm...so they sent me the wrong one did they.....Someone is going to get an earful tomorrow!!!

Did that pump come as part of your S/C kit? Is it used as a piggy back pump to be used with the stock pump? If you already have the wiring for the piggy back pump then just use your stock pump and buy an SVT focus pump. That should hold you till at least 525rwhp. Those Walbro pumps were used for return style fuel systems in older mustangs. Unless they made some new pump in the last year then yes it is the wrong pump, but that is the pump that comes with the Powerdyne/Vortech kit.
