The mustang is a lot more forgiving then some of the older manual cars. First car I drove was some Toyota Pick up. When you stalled... the thing jerked like a bronco... The mustang just shuts off.

Recommendation..... go get a rental and destroy it instead of your Mustang. I am about to teach my wife to drive this GT (Whipple-charged!) but she would never put her foot on the pedals until she learns to drive the hell out of a rental. Thats my food for thought.

That was exactlymy plan, but after a lot of looking Ieventuallylearned that none of thecar rental companies offer manualcars anymore (even the Rent-A-Wrecks - at least around here). [:@]
