Cloth Or Vinyl?

Pros and Cons?

Just wondering for my soon to be baby.

Thanks

I had a vinyl top on my '05, went with the cloth top on the '07. I think the cloth top looks much better than vinyl. The vinyl top was easy to clean. I've only had the '07 since last August so all I've need to do is wash/brush the dirt off.. I'm going to add some convertible top fabric protector this spring and we'll see how it goes after that. IMO - I think cloth tops always look better than vinyl.

Cloth looks much richer, in my opinion .
I wonder if it's harder to clean,though .
Cloth was not available when I ordered my '05.

Did some research on this before I went with cloth...

Cloth requires a little more care, but is nicer looking.

Thanks for the info everyone, I'm going to see if I can look at one with cloth and one with vinyl.

I love my cloth top and think it looks much richer and deeper black colorthan the vinyl. So far, the cloth top has been no extra care whatsoever and continues to look excellent (dd kept outside since July 06) perfect as the day it was new. BTW, no issues with lint on it whatsoever. That must be a rumor, as I've never had that issue.

I have a feeling the sound inside the car isquieter with the cloththan the vinyl, but that is just a hunch.

There's more info on this subject currently in the convertible section of the forum, also.

Good color choice KJK!

Sorry I didn't see this reply sooner but check out this thread. You might like my interior choice as well.
