The sound the stingers make out weighs the little drone that comes with them.

I have never actually heard drone..because I dont have the car or an aftermarket exhaust. But a few years ago I developed a problem with low frequencies associated with a couple of 10 inch sub woofers I had in the trunk of my car. Id get really bad headaches and somtimes Id get sick to my stomach. Sooo while Im not sure exhaust drone would bother me, Im going with Corsas (No Drone) when the time comes to buy an aftermarket exhaust setup for my Mustang.

Basically, thats how I felt with the drone (aka "resonance") in my car with Borla Stingers.( Also, my car is an auotmatic) I had those damn things on for one day, then they came right off., totally obnoxious from the inside. I felt like puking after a while. Forget having anyone ride in the car with me. Its an overbearing straight bass kind of booming sound from the car that makes a noise in your ears at 1,800-2000 rpm and after awhile makes you nauseous. Even some interior panels were buzzing from the vibration! F that. Don't get me wrong, the Stingers sounded nice from outside when your standing behind the car, but unfortunately when your driving, you're inside the car!!! I just wanted the car to sound a little nicer than stock without being annoying, so I got the FRPP GTA's, love 'em! Driving a car that sounds like a full blown race car gets old after awhile. Plus, I'm 39, so maybe I'm old, too! I had enough of really loud cars when I was in my late teens, early 20's....

Not sure its an age thing Jim, Im 26. But I figuered I wasnt the only one with this problem. Some people dig the drone..some people can tolerate it, and then there is people like us.
