Default install ? for rear springs on a Vert

I realize that I have to unbolt/remove the support braces that are on the convertibles. Do they need to be totally removed? Once they are removed is there any issue with trying to get them to line up in order to bolt back up? Any heads up on these braces and their removal would be great. Thanks.

Default RE: install ? for rear springs on a Vert

There are five bolts holding on each brace... the two on each end and one in the middle. The one in the middle is very difficult to get out without a really long extension... at least 15" The braceshave to come out comepletely to get the axle to drop enough to pull the springs out. When reinstalling the braces I tightened the fronts, then the middle first. I then found that the bolt holes in the back did not line up perfectly and I couldn't really get them in without using a jack under the spare tire well to move the back end up to line up. Good luck with your install.
