Bottom line thing to remember everyone......and I do have to remind ppl who test drive these new mustangs and then give the predisposed response "didn't impress me"............these new mustangs don't have the same "seats of the pants" feel as previous model mustangs do. Its a stiffer chassis with a bigger wheel base.......you're not gonna feel the same sensation of speed as u do in an older car. I'll put it this way, when I'm driving 65 in my '98, it feels like I'm doing 80. When I drive 65 in my '05, it feels like I'm doing 45. The ***-dyno on an S197 is just not accurate......and too many ppl let that fool them into thinking they are big, slow, pigs.

Heres something to think about b4 you buy a terminator, how ****ty the gas mileage is on a DOHC motor with a supercharger in which you burn premium and have a 10:1 compression rating, these new gts not only get 17-18 mpg but u get to burn regular gas, if u want some more horsepower you can always do upgrades to the 05-07 mustang engines and still only have to burn regular gas. My friend has an 07 gt and only has a h-pipe and cat back flow master exhaust but that car was pretty fast. He also owned an 04 mach1 b4 that and had to sell it because he couldnt afford the gas, because of the dohc, now imagine that engine with a SC on it, a nightmare, i mean the performance is great but the gas.... maybe a Roush Stage3 03 or 04 mustang would be better, SOHC and supercharged...its up to u and your financial situation i suppose, i say stay with the new gt

Always buy the car based on looks, then comfort then power. You can always spend more money later on mod's to get power. You can only do so much with the way the car looks and comfort.
