Removing rear blackout with 3M tape?

RE: Removing rear blackout with 3M tape?
Once removed get some 3M adhesive remover to take off glue residue. I just had to replace the tape on my blackout panel last week. Once removed,I cleaned the car with the 3M stuff and reapplied tape to panel. My panel lasted about 5-6 months before the tape started to lose its grip.

RE: Removing rear blackout with 3M tape?
Sorry, forgot I posted this question. I was able to remove it simply by apply a little pull starting at one end and working my way to the other without damaging or warping the panel at all. It might have helped that it baked in the sun all day prior to attempting. I've decided to keep the panel should I get a hair up my tail and want to install it again.
Thanks for all of the feedback.
