What is the drivability difference between stock gearing in a manual 2006. Is it more difficult? Do you start in 2nd gear. What is the rpm's at freeway speeds? Thanks.

I'd consider the FRPP 4.10's too, but can't find a shop that I can trust 100%.

I found one Mustang shop close to me, Swanson Performance, estimate given to me was $755 parts and labor.

I need referrals!!!

Anyone have opinions on 4.10 gearing for a V6 manual? Do I have to change my rear end too?And tune it?

But your rear end is already nice. Not sure what rpms you'll be at with the 6er. But I drove a 6 at work with 3.73 and you could tell the difference. The tuner would be mainly to correct the speedo.

Yes. And then you want more like 4.30's

I'm worried the shop will **** up the install and my gas mileage will go to ****!

Anyone have problems with the install? The only local place I have besides the Ford dealer is a truck place. Surely an aftermarket truck shop would have done a few gear changes. If i do 4:10's it will be when I get a tru trac diff installed.
