Default hood pins

I've been looking for hood pins since I've read about the hoods lifting. Do the "no drill" pins actually work or are they just apperance only?

Those are for looks............

Drill holes for the real ones.......................

Hood will still move a bit but, wont fly up if that situation presented it self.

Do those cables scratch the hell out of your hood?

Also..
1. unless you are going very fast.. 120 or so for a long time.. I doubt that you would have a stock hood fly up
2. unless it's for look.. only reason I can see getting them is for a fiberglass after-market hood.

No, the cables do not scratch the hood.
