lol.. exactly.. but no.. i was thinking about doing this, but i dont want somebody to laugh when i pop the hood, and the pins and all go up wiht it?!

ps.. how hard is it to drill and align and all that? and did you drill from the bottom? etc.. or if any one knows of a write up on this.. THANKS

I just got the CDC hood pins and held off for a long time because they were fake, but they are great quality (very heavy) and look amazing! I am very glad I got them now. Also I didn't want to drill in the hood.

+1....and to reiterate....if you are not sure whether it will look right....I would have been unhappy had I did mine with the real pins...problem would have been it would have been too bad so sad as I could not go back after the holes were drilled...now...I dont have to and when I get tire of them...easy off goodbye....

They're fine by me. I went with real hood pins mainly for the functionality. I never trust aftermarket hood strikers alone. Cool for a stock hood though.

BTW-I drilled from the inside out.marked twice drilled once and cleaned up with a dremel. I love that tool.

The fake ones look good, but everytime i start getting that hood shake at 120, im glad i have real ones to hold it down just in case. The other ones look good though.
