What ever happened to the radar detectors with the receivers on the front & rear bumpers, and the display in the cockpit?
There are some awesome ones out there. Many are in the $1300 range. The best one with price weighed in is probably the Beltronics 975 http://www.beltronics.com/vectorlrremote.html

Even cheaper on Ebay. Definately the way to go! I would if I had money...

The Escort one gets great reviews, but it's $1600 MSRP!!!You could pay for a few decent tickets at that price...

Care to elaborlate what "1 of those jammers" was? As YES there is some JUNK OUT THERE! As was posted before Radar is hard to jam, Laser on the other hand .....
Also it makes sense your radarwas not 'fooled' by a device at such close distance!!!

I got a 32volt 10amp fuse yesterday with an adapter to use with my radar detector. Will 32 work fine, or should I get a 12? I can't seem to find a 12 anywhere. :\

i have a radar jammer not surewhat kind my dad bought it for me about7-8 years ago. i've tested it on the radar speed signs on the side of the road. at a half mile or more it shuts down the sign if i turn the jammer off the sign shows my speed turn it back on the sign turns off again. but once i'm within a 1/2 mile. it doesn't jam anymore.

I'm still not clear on this... he had a laser jammer or a radar jammer? You tried to read his speed with a laser gun or a radar gun? And what "didn't do anything", the gun didn't show any reading, or the jammer didn't have any effect on the gun?
