Oh boy, now Scott is getting T'd! [sm=smiley11.gif]

Hopefully, I'll be getting mines dyno'd soon. I'll post up my results when I get them.

FWIW, if I ever got a S/C (or any big power mod), I wouldn't settle for anythingless than a dyno tune either.

Not T'd at all TacoBill, just disagreeing. How could I get T'd at a fellow BCMC'er?

Exactly... so we're good!

btw- I'm getting dyno'd this Saturday. Not because of all this mind you, but I've always been curious what kind of numbers I'm putting down. I'll keep y'all posted of the results.

I'm pretty sure no tune can default the TCS to off. Of course, if I'm incorrect, I'm sure someone will point it out.
Yep, that's what Brent told me. They can shut it off, but you can't turn it back on.

You can with a Predator. I change from "On" to "Off" tunes regularly.

The xcal from brenspeed will only hold 2 tunes for an 07..even though it is design to hold three. Must be something about the 07's.

If you order it from brenspeed or something like that, yes. If you are just buying a tuner and doing it yourself, most likely not. You wont notice the throttle response differences or anything of that sort. If you order it from Brenspeed it's only like $40 more with 3 tunes in it, much better then the tuner itself.

Will I still see these amazing improvements everyone is seeing if I stick with the canned C&L tune?

Yes your TCS can be defaulted off, but I don't think it's the best way to go for all around safety reasons.
When I say that I want the TCS defaulted to off, what I wantis to have to push the TCS button if I want the TCS on. Now as part of my startup procedure I hit the TCS button to turn it off. fd

I did the dyno tune because of a tuner that is a friend and I got a deal! Nothing wrong with canned but I prefer a dyno tune. Like you said TacoBill esp if you get a S/C!

IMO when you go F/I you spend close to 5-8k depending on the set up. Would you by a Bently and put it through a car wash? know then why would you spend 5-8k on a set up and not splurge for a Dyno tune. IMO you can get away with a Canned tune or Custom Canned tune or whatever you want to call it on mods minus the F/I but after you get the F/I you got to Dyno Tune
