Default intake ineffeciency + diff fuel types??

Hey guys, does any1 know if changing fuel types (89 93 etc.) impact horsepower? reason im asking is because i feel ever since i started using 89 instead of 93 im not getting as much of a response from my acceleration. Another thing, when i accelerate, my intake seems to really kick in only when i have good air flow, which usually delays its power...im thinking if its because of the stock hood? possibly not enough air coming in? thx ![&:]

Ive noticed that the lower the octane of gas, the lower your gas mileage, the less power you have. So basically, if you calculate out how many cents per mile you get. Youd notice the the difference between the grades of fuel is negligible, like 0.001 of a cent. So just run premium.
