I am an employee for ford motor.I get 4 X plans and 4 A plans per calander year.X plans are for friends and family of employees.I've give out over7 X plans to members of this board over the last couple of years.A plan is a better plan in the fact that it's for immiediate family members. It saves the customer more money on a new purchase or lease than the X plan.I've been employed with FOMCO for 13 yrs.I believe I'm a little more qualified regarding this subject than you.

In other words. I can order a X plan for you. It's just a pin number that is issued to your name and soc.

I have the same thing in my benefits package through my company that you have to show proof of ID, pay stub, etc and you can't give them out at all. Basically what moosestang posted.

Heres what I did, told the dealership about the xplan and asked him what I needed to bring and had him look at what I'd get off of the sticker right over the phone. After we haggled with it he finally told me not to worry about the check stub or any of that paper work, that he would give me the car at the agreed upon price. I didnt show him a thing and after dealer incectives and x-plan drove the car off the lot at 10,000 off.

My neighbor's father is retired from Ford. I asked him for his PIN # and he gave it to us. They did call him to verify and to make sure he gave us permission to use it and that was it.

If I'm not mistake, I think they told us we could only use the x plan once every 3 years.

While not an employee of Ford, I can confirm this also. People with "2nd hand knowledge" about this shouldn't necessarily speak up here. As stated above, my dad's coworker's brother (dad's coworker is a good friend of the family) works for Ford. He needed to know my g/f's information and he provided her with a PIN and she got the car using the X plan. I was there with her when she signed for it.

You my friend ARE NOT AN EMPLOYE OF FORD.Your company has the rights to the plan and they issue a X PLAN to YOU not to give to somone else. As an Employe of FORD I have four to give to whom ever I want.I simply go to the programheadquaters website type in the info for the person I'm GIVING it to and it issues a pin number.I give the person the x plan was intended for the pin and they take it to the dealership.Your Company does the same thin they order one for YOU you can not give it to anyone else.

BTW.......did someone get this guy an x-plan pin? If you didn't get one, go to blueovalnews.com and request one......I did, got it the next day, and it worked perfectly, got the car for a few hundred under invoice, they can't charge you certain fees that are normal, and you get any rebates.....I was completely happy with the deal!
