LoL, this cracks me up ... an employee of Ford who gives them out is wrong because a website somewhere says something?

And while my knowledge might be "second hand," I was there when my g/f was looking for a car, there when she discussed price, there when she got the pin from someone she doesn't even know, and there when she bought the car on the X-plan. I'd say that's pretty solid evidence vs something about what a website says.

For the record, I was offered the X-plan too but I negotiated a better deal so I didn't use it.

First one in a while that had me scratching my head as well LOL. It just goes to show you that while this forum is great for people to discuss there Mustangs and can be informative. You can't always base your decisions on what people on the forum have to say. It's funny that some people think there an authority on every subject.

The program was brought forth to keep employee's from issuing A plans to friends (Not immiediate family). Before 6 yrs ago all plans were intended for retired employee's and or employee'sand somesuppliers also were privlaged to the A plan program.X plan can be used by ANYONE.As long as it was issued to THEM.In other words if somone gives you one your name is put to it.You cannot give it to anyone else.Moosetang please refrain from giving out advice about how the program works........You are completley WRONG and have no idea what so ever what your talking about. It only makes the advice you give others on the forum regarding other subjects irrelevant. If you don't know what your talking about keep your mouth shut.

Go **** yourself buddy. My advice was not wrong.

And I will gladly back that up in person *******

I bought 3 Fords on X plan in 13 months. Had to wait the 12months from the first X plan pin. Great deals on all cars, inclueding the Mustang. I also got extra rebates on the other two cars, that was only for X plan. I saw the invoice for all three cars, and the X, A, and D plan prices. Get X plan thought mu employer. But it states I can not give it out to people outside my household. Even tried for mu Mom, dealer said no.

Yes you are correct if the employer issued YOU the X plan you can not transfer it to anyone else.My point is that Ford gives me 4 per year to issue to whom ever I choose.Once I give them to someone they can not pass them on to someone else.
