Hey all,

I was kind of looking forward to getting the ambient lighting and the HID headlights with an 08 mustang, but i'm really considering going with the 2007 mustang instead. Is there anyway Ford would install the ambient lighting and/or HID lights once the 08's are released or do you think that would be impossible?

Anything is possible depending on availability and if the dealer is willing to go the extra mile and make you happy. I know in July they shutdown to retool for the up coming year so by the end of summer the 07's will be cheaper and the options of the 08 will be available. The question is will the dealer be able to order the 07 that way or will they take dealer stock and convert the 07 to have some 08 options. I know you can get HID on any model year but the are the saleen ones and they are expensive but worth the install.
