Default TacoBill's 1st trip to the dyno!

Great news! Engine didn't blow-up!

Dyno run was performed at Swanson Performance in Torrance, CA (same guys that installed my 4.10 gears).

Swanson gave me the run files, so I downloaded the Dynojet viewer program and messed around with the Corrected (SAE) vesus Uncorrected graph displays. Pics below. Numbers (0, 3, 5) refer to the Smoothing Factor.

I set the A/F reference line at 13.0. I don't know how to display high/low peak numbers on the A/F graph, but highest spike was 12.9 with the average being 12.5 - 12.8.

Note: Wideband sensor was plugged into the driver's side rear O2 bung in the O/R-H. Doug's tune deactivates the rear O2 sensors, so disconnecting it was not a problem.

Note: All runs were with Doug's 91 Race Tune.

Note: Pulls 1 & 2 were done back-to-back. 10 minute cool down before pull 3.

Oh yeah, I'm happy as hell with the numbers I put down!!! [8D]

Bill, if you don't mind my asking, how much was your run at Swansons? Curious to see how the Brenspeed tunes are doing - especially the A/F ratio.

I understood the first 2 lines of that!

"I just drive 'em... I don't know about fixin' 'em"

What other sort of work does that shop do for our Mustangs? I don't dare take off a bolt with my butterfingers!

Check PM.

I've read that Doug's and Brenspeed's tunes are on par with each other, so I would assume the A/F ratio will be good too.

As far as performance mods... K&N CAI, FRPP 4.10 Gears, Pypes O/R-H, FRPP/Borla Stingers, and Doug's 91 Race Tune.

They do just about every mod installation you can think of. I tell ya, both Danny and Joel (lead mechanic) work and handle the car as if it weretheir own! No joke. I feel safe leaving my car there for any kind of work... way more than leaving it at the Dealer!

Very good question! I really have no solid clue. I understand the difference between SAE Corrected versus Uncorrected, but I don't understand the 'smoothing'.

I mean, at SAE, I peaked at 317.65 at the 0 setting, andat 291.82 at the 5 setting. Why the huge spread?
