Default creaking plastic

Everytime I hit the freeway or a bumpy road I'm getting a constant creeking sound from the plastic pannel right under the steering wheel. As soon as put pressure on it with my hand/knee it stops. Any advice on how to fix it? its not that big of a deal but it does stink.

Please no comments of drive while putting pressure on it !!

Once and FOR all, FORD built the best car they could for the $. IT doesn't matter, if it's a "barebones" 6, or a SHELBY,... THEY "all" get the same SH**, as far as interior, and creature comforts GO!!!!

You know, I had the same thing with my 2000 lx. The plastic in the dash would squeak with every little bump in the road. I swear, after a few weeks, I was ready to set my car on fire (noise started after 30k miles). The weirdthing about it is that I got it to stop. Not by any way that involved any brains, but by sheer use of force. I was coming home from school and my gf at the time kept laughing at the noise, which infuriated me.The combination of the noise and annoying laughterwastoo much for my senses. So, I lost it and just punched the dash with a fist like Drago from Rocky IV. Noise stopped, never to be heard again. I wouldn't recommend doing as I did, but im sure there is some way to fix it. Good luck, I know how annoying it can be. Hope my 07 doesnt do it
