Default saggy muffler...

i searched, cause I have read about this problem with aftermarket, but to no avail... One of my mufflers is sitting about and inch and a half lower than my other one... what is the simple remedy... aside from the borla/corsa/flowmaster fix... I know if i loosen something and twist... Is it just the muffler clamp itself or something more towards the H-pipe? Any help would be awesome...

The connection at the h-pipe/over axle would be a good place to start.

Since my Hpipe had hangers that needed to be heated and bent along with my driver side muffler hanger low. I just paid $10 and had them head it up and bend the muffler up. I'm all good now

Do they make silicone implants for saggy mufflers? Check the clamps at the H-pipe and the muff. The rotation is critical, If it still sags, you will need an implant. Just kidding! You may need to bend the hanger on the muffler. Sometimes they can can get jacked in shipping or if you ran over anyone lately.

I have the same problem with my new flowmasters. I am actually on my way outside to put on a bunch of new Brenspeed stuff on. Included is an o/r x-pipe. Hopfully I am able to get me new flows supported a little better. From what I have read on this forum it will sound like crap and I will be taking the flows back off anyway. Can't wait for a speed scream later today!!!!!

I had to bend my hanger on the drivers side a little bit to get them to line up good. The "simple" fix of just loosening clamps and rotating the pipes did not work for me.
