Does the MGW sit lower than the stock shifter?

It is adjustable. I'm pretty sure it can be made to sit higher or lower than stock.

But does that also adjust how short the throw is?. For instance, can I have the super short throw but have the **** itself sit high? Or do I have to have the **** sit low for the shorter shift?

The hight of the **** does not affect the throw on the MGW. You set the MGW on the underside. The **** hight is a different setting. Make sense?

Perfect sense.

It was just all the pics I've seen of the MGW installed have the **** sitting very low. Add to that I still how no idea how they accomplish the shorter throw... thats why I was confused

The Hurst shifter is actually taller than the stock shifter. And I think they're selling themselves short by saying it shortens the throw by 40% I bet it's closer to 50% or better.
