Hood liner melt???
Hi GrayPony - not a problem sir, my liners usually go for $85 but during the month of June I am reducing them to $75. If someone sends me an original liner or a template made via the dollar store vinyl shower curtain I'll drop it down to $55. Shipping is $13 Priority in the USA, $23 Priority to Canada, and decals are $15-$25 depending on design. I have a filled-in running horse or I can provide a Cobra snake with COBRA lettering underneath in the exact font that's about 14 inches high. The most popular color is silver, but red can be made as well as other colors.
I can explain how to make the template from the shower curtain if you want, and you can e-mail me at tbirddmnd@att.net
I have a Mustang hood liner eBay auction that goes into more detail, just go to eBay and search for "Mustang hood liner insulation pad" and there are these links to larger images on Imagevenue:

The last 2 show the Cobra snake decals - there is white contact paper over these silver vinyl decals, and they can withstand the temps underneath with no problem. I'm ready to make liners for the newer Mustangs - I know you'll like them!
My liners are not stiff like the originals, and to install them the hood MUST come off, and the liners are adhered into place (cleaned underhood) with 3M #80 adhesive found at the Home Depot in the paint section. It's not hard to do this at all and the end result is a far superior liner to stock. Mine has been on my 97 Thunderbird Limited Edition for almost a year - it still looks like the day I installed it.
Thanks,
