I've got deep dish 18x10 and 18x9 wheels. What is the largest tire I can put on these safely, without rubbing or handling issues?

Please, don't tell me to use search. I just want your opinions on tires!

well i have same wheel size with 255/45 front 285/40 rear.. in BFG KDW 2

You can go bigger but its difficult to find the right diameter..

u can go 295 but i only found it in a 35 series..to small......i found a 305 in a 45 series..to big... both of those didnt work for me...

i think Falken and Nitto makes a 295/40 but its a R compound..so it doesnt wear to long..

unless some new sizes came out recently..thats your best bet..good luck

i work at discoutn tire..

nitto makes a 295/45/18.. i just bought the same rims and put these on the back..

up front i have 255/45/18 .. not the biggest that will fit.. but didnt want really big up front.. on out back..


as far as other brands that make 295/45/18's.. only goodyear is the other that i know of.. i would have gone with KDW's.. but they dont have that size..

as far as the 295/45 R... i dunno what your talking about except maybe the nitto 555r... that is a drag radial and yes.. it wont last maybe 20k.

the nitto 555 in that size.. is the street tire, and will last orlly double that.. i hope..

I would love to see some pictures of your Nitto 295's out back. I'm thinking of selling my Prelli 285 40 just because I want my rears to be a little taller than my front's and not the other way around.

How much did it throw off the speedo by the way?
