C&L INTAKE???????

So I just installed my C&L and I am not too happy with the quality of the heat shield it comes with. Does anyone have the same experience? Does anyone have any upgrade idieas for the heat shield?

tillmanspeed is working on a new heatshield...otherwise we are stuck with the "quality" one that came with it.

Mine for my GMS intake was awful as well i had to bend it all sorts of ways for it to work , i actually had a problem with the shield pushing the filter off i drove about 50 miles with my filter half on talk about scary, it seems theres always little imperfections with many of the systems.
