Synthetics
Did my first change @ 700 miles last night. I decided on Castrol Syntec blend and M1 filter for the first change. The Castrol blend met all of Ford's requirements and is readily available. I'll purchase a couple cases of Redline for the future. That's all I've ever put in my truck and love it.
I was kind of surprised about the viscosity of 5w20 oil. It was like pouring WATER! And the Castrol oil is completely colorless, which was also kind of strange to see. Ah, well whatever works. I think I'm going with 5w30 weight in Redline due to it's lower viscosity. Should work ok.

30W isn't lower than 20W and they are both 5W out of the bottle.

Thanks. It must be that then 5w30. This guy builds race cars and has many street cars of his own. To make sure, I'll stop by there tomorrow to verify.!!!!!!!

I'd still stick with the 5W20. There have been reports of engine damage with some who have gone over to 5W30 AKA (the dark side)
