Is the 05,06 Diablo preditor different than the 07?
The one I bought is from an 05GTand I have an 07 GT.
I don't see what the difference would be.

2007 model support is now available through the NEW CL7145 Predator tuner. A hardware change in the automatic models neccesitates that the CL7140 tool used on 2005-2006 models will not support 2007+ vehicles. When ordering for a 2007+ model Mustang, please be sure that you specify that you need the CL7145 version, as denoted with the different part numbers below.

Buy an SCT, leave the Diablo on the shelf for some other unsuspecting person, I have had them both SCT is light years ahead.

But I have an 07 and I accidently bought the one for the 05 and it didn't work so I had to fork over the extra 20 and get the one for the 07. I'm not sure what the difference is between the years but I know for sure that the earlier one doesn't work in our cars.

Yes there is a difference between the 05-06 to the 07 model. You will need to get the other model.....the CL means its for a C&L CAI....there is a U model which is universal and not CAI specific...but still is different from 05-06 to 07 models.

As for SCT vs Predator....they are in reality the same...the Predator actually has some funtionality that the SCT doesnt....so as for "SCT is light years ahead".....umm no.

I almost made this mistake when I bought mine. U7145 for 07's, U7140 for 05-06. I like my Diablo tuner, I think its more user-friendly. It would be nice if it used a USB interface, but I can deal with serial. I keep mine in my car with me at all times.
