AT to MT tranny swap?

is this possible? what kind of work would need to be done and what kind of prices would i be looking at?

Don't try it. It's not worth it. Others here can get into the details but suffice to say, forget it. Just sell and buy a manual equipped car.

One of my Mustang club members did it. He was blessed to have a friend do the switch and sold the auto for the cost of the manual. Unless you are like him, it will be very costly.

Just trade your car in and buy a manual. Your best bet.

Please don't do it. Waste of $$$ and then some. If you really need a manual then trade-in. And automatic with a tune installed will do wonders. Other than that you'll need to just trade it in.

If you have the connections you could swap out to a t-56 or something....6-speed FTW! but, like others have said it will be costly unless you have the connections, and alot of work is involved.
