RE: I changed my MACS for Corsas.
honestly, im not sure what kind of x pipe it is. it came with o2 bungs.
x pipes are mostly the same. you'll find very little, if any, variation between the actual shapes, its more the materials that differ.
the reason i suggest an x pipe with the Corsa's is because it much better suits the muffler location, style, and the engine sound. i would recommend an o/r h pipe or a hi-flow catted h pipe, but there is some "trumpeting." with a cannister style muffler, especially mounted at the rear of the car, i've noticed that an h pipe doesn't give u the same full throttle sound. its more important than choosing a combo thats just "deep," just as a loud combination isn't always the best sounding. a catted x pipe is the way to go with Corsa's.

RE: I changed my MACS for Corsas.
Ok thank you, I will give that a shot.
I am considering these two systems;
The Stainless Bassani 46053.
http://www.bassani.com/part/46053
Or the SLP Full assembly SLP M31538
http://www.lmperformance.com/6609/73.html
I can’t tell if the SLP setup is Stainless or not, I want SS.
Do you have a preference?
Thanks for all of the help.

Install a Supercharger, you'd be surprised how much louder it gets, even with a stock system. Full throttle now is much louder than before. I say this as a kind of joke because that would be an expensive solution, but if you're thinking SC, it will increase the volume so getting louder now will just be that much louder later with the SC.

$505 at carshopinc.com http://bassani.carshopinc.com/produc...id/70745/46053
But I don't know if carshop can be trusted.
Just have to search around till I find the best price and a place Ican trust.
What the hell is wrong with this website?
It always craps out on me, page cannot be displayed, or cookie errors.
It happends to be at home and my PC at work.

BTW, I've heard Bassini's in person, very nice and deep sound but I've heard they have some big drone issues too. Not sure if it is as bad as the Mac's or not though.

I still think the MAC are the best sounding muffler, I love the sound of mine, I moved my cruise RPM range with 4.10 gears and now the drone does not bother me :-)
I am planning to install High Flow Cats and X-pipe to remove the rest of the drone, you just need to change the frequency and wave length and your set.

RE: I changed my MACS for Corsas.
I have the Macs with an o/r bassani x-pipe and it is freakin loud as hell under acceleration. It doesnt have any particular sound because togather this setup growls, screams, and makesall kinda noises. I guess similar to a Nascar but you still get a very deep growl unless you lay into the throttle. Only bad thing is this combination is so loud you are gonna acquire a rattle at some point garuanteed. I love mine though! With the stock H-pipe the Macs sound great but just not loud enough for me but considerably louder than stock.
