Default Is "painted" black CDC Chin Spoiler ready for paint?

I know that there is an unpainted and "painted textured black" CDC chin spoiler. What I'm wondering if the painted textured black version can also be painted over or will it need prepping? I want to paint the outer part of the spoiler windveil, and leave the inner (middle) part black. If the "painted textured black" version can be painted, then the paint shop only has to do the outside and only deal with one color (windveil). Otherwise, they have to deal with two colors, which will cost more.

Anyone know? TIA.

it would have to be sanded down or else it would look like crap....dont u pay like 70 more dollars for the painted textured one anyways? put that 70 bucks toward painting the middle black, itll look a lot better in the end

Even the "ready for paint" one is not quite ready. Still needs prep if you want it perfect.

It's $45 more for the black painted. Yea, it might be a wash.

What did everyone pay to paint their chin spoiler?

The black texutred one is not made for paint. If you going to get it painted you should get the regular one.

BTW got mine painted with my cervinis wing for 175
