after viewing other makes and models I've noticed another thing- the rating of Good can be given even if the dummy hits the stering wheel! I think they need to broaden the rating system!
Also, if you notice, the dummy's heads are covered with a wet paint or makeup that comes off on whatever the heads hit. You see the impression they make on the airbags and the pillars. After seeing some hit the object on the side impact test I think it might be time for 4 point belts!

I liked the test for one other car I've been considering, the Toyota FJ Cruiser. But the Prius side test scared me!

Well, I know from experiance all about how safe these cars are...

my first mustang (an 01) got tboned on the pass side and I only had brussing.

My 06 ... I was driving down the street doing 40 when a car pulled out infront of me and I slammed into it with full force...

I walked away from it with some scarring on my arms and some bad back pain..luckly no broken bones..

and its a coupe btw
