Assuming it's not BS - go with the auto at least - both cars can be a handful for a new driver, but in a manual with that much power, the first time you accidentally drop it in 2nd instead of 4th you're in a ditch.

And if you can at all afford it - get lessons! I'm 35 and am looking into it - you're never too old to learn more, and no matter how good a driver you are threre's always room for improvement.

I orignally had my mind on a regular GT/CS, my mom, brother etc came up with the proposition heh.
Better check to see if they've taken a large life insurance policy out on you...suggesting either of those stangs without any prior driving experience?? I'm not sure you should get a regularGT...

This thread is as full of BS as anything you see on the Internet!
Nobody gets a 500 HP car for their first car when not even having a drivers license!
If they do please notify the police!
