OK, to take this further..... (The thread, not the flaming)

How much work would it be to take a crate 32 valve 2002/3/4 Cobra motor with ancilleries (I've seen them for sale) and drop it into an 05/6/7 ?

It's essentially wiring harness and OBC right [?] This is a mod I've been seriously considering given that the 32 valve is such a superior motor in every way.
The '02 is an aluminum block, high compression engine, the '03/'04 block is a cast iron block, with low compression pistons because it's designed for a supercharger(8.5:1 C/R). Remember too, the Drive By Wire on the S197s must be converted to a throttle cable to work with the earlier modular engines. Unless you can get a crate engine for under $5K, it would be wiser to have someone like Livernois build a forged, stroker 3V for around $5K. Just my opinion.........

Hmmm, you could be right at that. I've seen crate Terminator motors (Complete with blower and ancilleries) for around $7.5

I guess you could build a pretty strong 3v for that. It'd never be a 32v though [8D]

Actually, the '02 4V cobra engine doesn't exist, unless you want to import it from australia
