Camshaft sensor position :(
Well i got a CEL and it says Cam sensor position, ever heard of that one? i guess im goign to take off my intake and tune and go to ford. its been happening every once in a while. but now the light is stuck on.

It could be your camshaft position sensor like it says or it could be something else. CPS is testable. I believe on this car you have to check the resistance and make sure it meets the specs. Anyways there's a thread about this on another forum, read it if you want. Here:

I got this error as well a few years ago, it turnd out to be the Cam Paser gear was binding, there is a TSB out for this
Theres another TSB that has this error and it says to replace the alternator because of bad power signals cause the sensors to read improperly.

My saturn does this from time to time.
On the Gm's there is a magnet on the inside of the sensor with part of the magnet exposed measuring the crankshaft position. It gets dirty from worn oil and gets wiped clean every year - two years.
