I saw a mustang the other day that had 3 lights on in his rear tail lights. Any idea how he did this? I don't like how the two inner parts don't have lights in them. Could I just put bulbs in their or is their no plug for them?

 

Uh...what are you talking about? Theres 6 bulbs in the tail lights, one in each of the 6 sections.

 

If you use a sequential tail light, all thre lights on each side are activated in sequuence. If you just want to activate the two inner lights, here is a write up somewhere on here explaining how to do it. Sorry, I don't have a link for it.

 

Yeah, Im sure he had might have had the sequential tl's installed, they light up all 3 when parking lights on.

 

I think it's CDC sequential taillights.

 

The sequentials make the lights light up, but hes saying he doesnt even have bulbs in 2 of his isnt he?

 

He had all 6 of his sections light up when he braked. My mustang only has the outer 2 light up when I brake. There is no bulb in the inner sections.

 

There is a bulb in the inner lights, it just doesn't light up when you brake (if everything is factory.)

The person you saw whose lights all lit up had a sequential tail light kit set up.

 

There HAS to be bulbs in the inner lights.. They should come on with your parking lights I believe..

I can set my sequentials to "normal" mode, i'm not sure if it lights all 3 up or not.. I'm sure it does seeing as the other 2 modes lights that inner light as well..

 

*Sorry about being confused lol, I took it as you didnt think you had bulbs at all, however there are really 6 bulbs in the tail lights stock, just the inner 2 only light up at certain times.*
