I have a black car as well and use only microfiber towels and a porter cable D/A polisher. PM me if have any other questions

what type of pads and cloths do you guys use for each step,i just bought a 07 gt that is black,so its very important to kkep down on anything that will scratch the clearcoat,i have not washed it yet just because im not sure what is safe for it yet.

stupid question. laundry detergent, the liquid stuff, is that a good soap to wash with? i've used that all these years. hypoallergenic and unscented of course. it always worked for me...
