When I learned to drive back in the dark ages. Everything was rear wheel drive and we didn't have any TCS. My parents took me out to an old church parking lot with a foot of snow on the ground and told me to get after it in an old 1970 Nova with a 350 in it (if I remember correctly). I guess it wasn't that old back then.
NowI am having a little trouble getting used to the TCS. It cuts in when I'm not expecting it and has shocked me a couple times. I now prefer to drive withthe TCSoff in most cases. I know what to expect from the car if it gets loose, it's the TCS I cant predict or seem to react correctly to[]. Maybe I just need more time with it.
I don't think it's a better or worse driver thing, I think it's what you become used to and how you have been trained to react in certain situations while operating a vehicle.
