Hey man, this situation really sucks. But if your dad is saying that he will pay for your living expenses if you stay in school, take that opportunity. You said that that was a "lose situation", but I don't see why it is. Just make sure that you keep in school though, even if you have to sell the car. You can always buy another car later, but getting an education down the road in life is tough stuff.

Go to college with a cheap car/no car, and a nice apartment. get some student loans and stuff.

And whoop your step-dads punk *** on the way out the door.

If you don't owe that much (7000) just refi- even w/o credit you should be able to get it done because you have so much equity. Just relax also. I worked 40 hrs/week, kept up a house alone, and took 15-20hrs/semester. You can do it. It's worth it. May have to sacrifice some party time but it's Ok.Get that education. Have determination-make it happen. Don't settle for anything in life. With a little hard work college will be over before you know it. Don't let anyone of anything stop you!!!! Go after it!!Get a part time job, pay your bills and make "A's"
