I CURRENTLY HAVE A 06 MUSTANG GT WITH A BASSANI CATTED X-PIPE AND SLP LMS. I HAVE THE XPIPE THAT I CAN TRANSFORM INTO A OFF ROAD X PIPE IF I WANT. AT FIRST I PUT THE O/R X-PIPE WITH THE LMS AND IT WAS WAY TO LOUD. I WANT TO GET THE MOST NATURALLY ASPIRATED HP OUT OF MY CAR SO MY QUESTION IS IF IT IS WORTH PUTTING THE O/R X-PIPE ON AND BUYING EITHER FRPP/STINGER CATBACK OR SLP POWERFLOW AND SELLING MY LM. IS IT WORTH THE EXTRA HP? I ALSO PLAN ON BUYING SHORTY HEADERS IN THE FUTURE.

 

to get the most possible hp from your car goin n/a you should get long tube headers instead of shorties

I live in cali as well and I'm going to get the catted LT.I have abetter chance of passing the smog that way instead of no catts.Maybe not the visual but other then that you could.

 

well i really dont care about not having cats, but i just want to find out if my explanation is worth the bang for the buck and if so where can i get a good price on frpp exhaust or slp power flow?

 

if you want HP then the o/r x pipe will yield the most....removng the cats is where a good deal of the HP comes from.
