Default Problems with TPMS sensors

I havw Americam muscle deep dish bullits on my 07 GT. So far I have had 2 sensors come off the wheels. So now I took the other 2 off. Is there a way to keep this from happening, or a way to turn that feature off in the pcm. Now I have a low pressure warning and a sensor default light on. All in all this has been VERY aggravating with a car that 2 weeks old.

Default RE: Problems with TPMS sensors

Press the reset button on your dash when you start the car. That clears the warning, but it will come on with every restart. At first I thought it was going to be a nuisance, but now I do it so matter of fact that I don't even realize it.

Some others also claim you can leave the sensors in the trunk and they'll also still register with the computer. Unfortunately, mine went with my wheels when sold.

Good Luck!
