I participated in a thread re: slapping s197 wheels on a new edge and was told NO, they are NOT interchangeable. It was too long ago for me to track down the old thread, but I do remember that the answer was NO...

Check the aftermarket catalogs to see if they are interchangable.
I think the offset and backset are all wrong.

The bolt pattern is the same, but backspacing is different. The wheels will bolt on, but will stick out. If you can get em sheap enough, throw em on the car, if it doesn't work/look good, sell em.

Exactly. ...what are they 15" or possibly 14"? Yeah the calipers may prevent you from mounting them at all. ...course you can measure the clearance you now have and the difference in the rims and pretty much know if they'll fit past the calipers. Can also easily measure backspacing and know how much they'll stick out before you buy them (assuming they'll take one off and let you measure things up) If they are cheap enough and in that nice shape buy them even if they won't fit. Nothing like that in junk yards out here in thenortheast.

If it's a Mach 1, they're 17's. They will clear the calipers. They may stick out a bit, but then again, they may fit the wheel wells just right. If the price is right, try it. If they don't look right, sell them.
