Odd noise from the front passenger wheel area
First off, I don't know all the much but am slowly learning thanks to everyone here. I've noticed for about 2 months now that when I go over the speed bumbs in my neighborhood that there is this wooshing sound coming from the front passenger wheel area. Only that side. It sounds kind of like air being pushed out. I just thought it might be the springs or whatever. Then I've noticed that if I push a little hard on the brakes (like if someone cut you off or slammed on them infront of you) that front right wheel area has this semi loud THUNK! when the weight of the cars front dips. Again I didn't really think much of it. I have a 68 and they make some odd noises. Then I read the 95 page long thread about the thunking noise. Ok I didn't read it all but some of it. Could this be the same thing? Should I have the "steal"ership look at it? Thanks for any help. Jaeger

Definitely have them look at it. It doesn't sound like the thunk thread topic to me. It does sound like a collapsed strut though. Yea, those upper control arm bushing in the classics would sure talk to you.
