My car won't start, I am installing the raptor shift light after i was done with all the wiring I started up my car and It started fine. Turned on the raptor then my car shut off and now it won't start. I can hear a fast ticking sound coming from the throttle body.... Anybody know what's going on???

 

My guess is you wired the raptor to the 'accessories' power supply. Turn the key on but don't start the car. If the shift light is working you need to wire it to the ignition power supply.

EDIT - wiring your raptor tto the accessories power suppy line would make your shift light not work but shouldn't kill the car but I would bet you have someone messed up or bypassed the ignition power supply. First thing is to unhook the raptor completely and make sure the wires are as they were before the install. If the car works fine, then it is definitely in your power supply wiring.

 

Where can i find the ignition power supply?
Another thing, the first time the car did start up. Then shut off. Does that have anything to do with it?

until we can get the car back to running
condition.

i'll try to locate the ignition 12vdc souce in
the meantime.....

 

You need to make sure the raptor is connected to the ignition power wire. It is the white wire with the yellow stripe under the steering column.

 

I see lines going accross where the Milage shows everytime I turn the key on

Did you confirm you are hooked up to the white wire with the yellow stripes under the steering column? That's where you should be.

 

you have any power at all? it may be grounded or shorted out

Ok so it's connected to the white wire wire with yellow and i still get the lines across the panel of my milage meter and the car still doesn't start
