Ok, so I went to autozone and had my check engine light checked and it says:

Code P0358

The PCM has determined that a malfunction exists in the primary or secondary electrical circuits for ignition coil "H".
--------------------------

Definition
Ignition coil primary circuit condition - Coil number 8
Explanation
The ignition coil primary circuit is monitored for errors
Probable Causes
1. Ignition coil defective
2. Secondary ignition-plugs, wires, cap, rotor
3. Poor electrical connection or circuit fault
4. Driver circuit fault-ignition module or PCM

The coil was checked and it works fine the only thing I can think is #3. If you guys wanna know what it feels like just unplug the wires on cylinder 8. That's how my car drives [:'(]

My buddy's still coming over tonight and checking the wiring hopefully he'll fix it. Thanks for all the help, any other ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Dude, that sucks....I don't even know if it would cause what you are experiencing, but, are you positive you tapped the proper wire on the number 8 coil pak, and not the one that runs to every cylinder??

Mike;

I am 100% sure I did the right one per TacoBill's Instructions:

So you are definetly dead holed. Don't drive the car around any more. You run the chance of tearing things up if you haven't already. However, you say they checked and the coil pack is good? If I remember what I was told when they were checking mine they said a wire can come loose in the pack. Honestly I don't know, I'm just going by memory and since that didn't turn out to be my problem I really didn't look into it too hard. Can you remove the tap that you installed and see if that solves the problem?

Don't drive the car with the cylinder dead holing. You could do some damage to the engine.

Sorry I was out for a bit buit it looks like it got diagnosed. BTW - which fuses exactly blew - specfically - what number that controls what?

Have you replaced ALL the fuses now? Listen to Dex, NEVER drive the car short on fuses!![:@]

You probably learned a very good lesson also and that is to ALWAYS dissconnect the battery when doing ANYTHING electrical (this includes simply wiring to a power source)

As a rule thumb, I usually kill the battery out of habbit whenever I'm working on the car...

The fuses I blew were
42 - 15a** Engine #3
54 - 10a**PCM delay

I'll learn never to do that mistake again!

Now do you have any idea what Engine #3 and PCM delay is?

As far as i'm concerned i only have 1 engine [:-]

**UPDATE**

I went to the dealership and I had fried one of the coils, they didn't notice anything so they replaced and didn't charge me anything at all

So i'm all good to go now. Next weekend i'll attempt at installing this again and hopefully it won't break down again!!

+1,000,000 to all the member that helped me out!!!
