Default Converts limited? Employees able to get early ones?

I know when a hotseller comes out, the dealers can charge a lot and sometimes are limited as to how many they can get, so they do not appreciate employee discount/low profit sales early on hotsellers. I am taking the wife in to the dealer soon to get a lot of info on the new droptop so I am looking for info heading in.

Default RE: Converts limited? Employees able to get early ones?

Just bought an 05 GT, 5 spd. redfire coupe 2-3-05. I worked for two months here in Indianapolis. In the begining, some dealers wanted $3500.00 over MSRP, most have come down to sticker, but the GT's are hard to come by. I finally got a dealer to X-Plan on a car that was due in the next day.

I think it will be very hard to get any kind of deal on a vert, at least until the nice weather has past. Now, if you are connected with the dealer from previous history, you might pull it off.

Best of luck, hope to see pic.s of your new vert on the forums soon!!
