So I normally don't post on the message boards here, I normally just look around and see what you guys have to say. Today is different, I was sitting at a light, and a lady decided that the red light meant go. I guess she took a different drivers ed course than I did. Anyway, my question is, Does anyone know of a good body shop in Des Moines, IA? It's fairly minor damage to the plastic rear bumper, although there appears to be a hole so I assume they'll have to replace the entire thing. So if anyone knows anyone who does a good job in Des Moines, IA, I would be very appreciative.

I had some warranty work done on my rear bumper by the dealership due to some damage during delivery. I was VERY impressed with the repair (they didn't replace the bumper). If her insurance will pick it up, let the dealership have at it rather than you fooling with it.

get an insurance check in your name from a dealer estimate.

Buy your own rear aftermarket or used bumper and hardware, and have it painted to your ext color code on your driver door sticker, then install.
That should put $400+ in your pocket .If you want more, get a lawyer and chiropractor, you will be getteing mail shortly from lawyers if the police gave her a ticket.

If you think its bad, our stealership would do the same, and put the $400 in thier pocket

Her insurance will definitely be paying for it. I was just curious if anyone knew if there are body shop reviews online, or just a good one in Des Moines.
