It probably depends where you live. Here in South Texas, dealers will "deal". I purchased my loaded 07 GT in June for about 5k under MSRP. (31K/26K) First, I checked their dealer inventory on the internet. I went to the dealer supposedly looking for a stripped GT and of course they didn't have any. The lot was full of Roush and Shelbys along with several loaded GTs. I insisted on a stripped GT and walked out with a loaded one for the same price. All dealers want to move cars and they will deal. They don't want you to walk out withouta sale.
