Default Spoiler or not?

I thibnk the '05 looks good either way, but now that I've seen allot in person, I think they look way better without the spoiler.

What do you all think

I think it looks good with or without it. This is actually the first year since 1994 that I can say that. I ordered mine with it, but its owners preference.

Mine came with the spoiler, no choice since I got it as they were unloading it from the truck (right place at the right time) but I like it better without, so if anyone in Central Florida have a Black '05 without spoiler that wants one, we can trade trunk lids. (I looked all over the trunk lid and doesn't have a VIN stamped on it)

I would have taken it if the car came with it but it didn't and I am OK with that also.

believe it or not, not all 500+ people viewing the site are signed in or have accounts. so they can't all vote.

oh, and i don't like the cars without the spoilers on them. any of the mustangs. it's not like it makes the car faster, so it's all up to you whether you want it or not.

Today's spoilers are just plain ugly!!! When you can see daylight under them and they stick up in the air, they say: "A punk drives this car and he has a spoiler because everyone else his age thinks they are supposed to have one of these to be accepted." It reminds me of the "Emperor's New Clothes." Remember that story about how everyone thought something stupid because they all thought that was the thing to do? It is like the clear taillights and blue headlights. They don't do squat except tell your similar-aged friends that you have kowtowed to them. There HAVE been decent spoilers but they are done with subtle style. This reminds me of vinyl tops and opera windows and bumper guards. All are fads and none are improvements. Other than that, I admit it IS personal pref but I really wish the votes showed the age of the voters.

very interesting jibberish, errrr post. i'm 23 and voted for a poiler. alot of people buying the 05s are older and they seem to like them, hence the reason ford even puts them on. as you can probably tell from the few votes here, people favor the spoilers on the stangs. it's not like they're huge fvcking park bench spoilers. they're small and simple. there's not some huge gap between it and the car. so what is your age? i'd like to know how old a person is to write such a fascinating story.

I'm 48 and I wanted a spoiler. There have always been "soccer mom" Mustangs and Mustangs for guys. If you want the "Soccer Mom" version, I'm alright with that.
