Just painted my calipers red!
Looks good!
And for anyone who wants to do this, it's really not all that difficult. I've painted the calipers on my last three cars, including theMustang, with G2 paint and it's extremely durable (unless you chip it) and it is really easy to use. Thepaint levels out very nicely and it looks almost professional when done if you take your time. The only thing Iwould stress is to make sure they are VERY CLEAN clean before you paint. Most kits come with a can of brake cleaner and you should use the whole can, and more if you feel it's necessary.

ORIGINAL: Boozshey
Did mine awhile ago. Didn't take 8 hours. I would say more like 45 minutes. I had the car on a lift already and the wheels off, so that helped with time. Being on a lift I was able to just do one caliper and goto the next, I didn't have to wait 20 minutes, rather I just did one and moved to the next and made to circles out of the car and was done. I put the wheels back on as soon as I was done with the last wheel.
But I can tell you be careful what kind of wheel cleaner you use in the future. I usually use Meguires wheel cleaner spray on and off, well I was out and I have some Armor All wheel cleaner so I thought I would give it a try. After I sprayed it on, I grabbed the hose to spray it off and it ate all the caliper paint with it. So now I must redo the entire thing to make it look right again. Just a heads up.
