I didn't come with the extra 1000 lbs, someone else did.
My mistake was to assume it was right. Assumption really is the mother of all f###ups.

But you've gotta ask yourself, why did this guy spend all that cash on a really nice car, (the GT500), then spend more money on some good mods, NOT to take up a freindly race against a nice guy who chatted at a light. ? You don't have to be mean to race cars. If you're not gonna use it, why have it?

Well the GT500 has a different meaning for the "baby boomers". The car would only have 350 horses, they wouln'd care.
It's the: "I had the real thing in 67, I wish I kept it" or "I couldn't afford it then, now I'm getting it"
Their racing days are behind them, for the most.

As far as myself, I can't care less about the bagde (Shelby is 65/71in my eyes). I wish that car said SVT and stayed at a civilized 45K max.
